The Invisible Barrier that Hides a Heart-Wall

Introduction

Have you ever been told, "Looks like you have a wall in your heart"? In the vast field of emotional health, many approaches seek to understand and treat the complexities of human feelings. One intriguing approach that has gained prominence over the years is the Emotion Code, a technique developed by Dr Bradley Nelson, which allows us to identify and release emotional blockages that can negatively impact our mental and physical health. One of the central concepts of this approach is the "Heart-Wall", an invisible barrier that can significantly influence our emotional well-being.

What is the Heart-Wall?

According to The Emotion Code, the Heart-Wall refers to an energetic barrier that the subconscious builds around the heart to protect us from negative emotional experiences. This defence occurs, most of the time, unconsciously, as a natural response to traumas, disappointments, or stressful situations throughout life where the subconscious goes to protect its most precious asset, our heart. It is estimated that around 93% of people have a wall in their heart.

Dr Bradley Nelson explains that the Heart-Wall is formed by trapped emotions that are part of the famous "Emotional Baggage", i.e. unprocessed emotions trapped in the body. These emotions can accumulate over time and create an ever-increasing energetic barrier around the heart, making it difficult to genuinely express emotions and negatively impacting physical and mental health.

How does the Heart Wall affect your health?

The Heart-Wall can be a contributing factor to a variety of health problems, including physical pain, emotional discomfort, anxiety, depression and even heart problems. However, by releasing trapped emotions and "tearing down" the Heart-Wall, it is possible to restore emotional balance and health. On the other hand, when there is a Heart-Wall, our main actor becomes the mind, our cherished Ego. This is why we often find it difficult to do things from the heart, as it is protected but also blocked.

On the other hand, this protection also prevents us from giving and receiving what could bring marvellous things into our lives. The heart, being the organ with the most powerful magnetic field in the body, has an immense reach... but if it's surrounded by a wall, we can't really expand or attract what we want.

The Release Process

A Heart Wall session consists of identifying and releasing trapped emotions that may be our own, inherited or shared. The process is similar to releasing trapped emotions in a normal Emotion Code session, using a technique called kinesiology, which uses muscle testing to access information from the subconscious. After identifying the emotions, the practitioner applies specific techniques to release them, allowing energy to flow freely again and restoring emotional balance.

Conclusion

The Heart-Wall reinforces the interconnection between emotions and physical health. The approach of this methodology proposes that by releasing trapped emotions and breaking down this invisible barrier, it is possible to promote deep and lasting healing. Although this perspective may be viewed with scepticism by some, those who have already had their wall broken down report significant benefits from exploring and releasing their emotions with the help of The Emotion Code.

By considering emotional health as an integral part of our well-being, the Heart-Wall invites us to reflect on the importance of understanding and approaching emotions in a holistic way, recognising the fundamental role they play in our journey to health and self-knowledge.

I often suggest to my clients that they write down in their diaries the day their wall was completely "broken down". That way, they can celebrate and appreciate all the changes that began to happen in their lives from that moment on.
